Another busy few months has seen me working hard on various projects. The u11s at the WRCFA Player Development Centre had a couple of matches against Sheffield & Hallam FA and gave
a great account of themselves. Another project was myself providing a demonstration of a typical "Join our Club" primary school session for the West Riding county FA Development
team. I was filmed and recorded at a school near Rothwell, working with players from Castleford White Rose, whilst several coaches watched on from the side lines. No
pressure! I've also worked on a new set of sessions with Sporting Equals, for both younger and adult players in Batley. Saturday mornings are growing steadily, with a regular set of
players attending each session. I'm really pleased with the progress being made and was delighted to hear about one of our youngsters, who had not played football before attending Soccer
Elite and he joined a club a few weeks ago and won "Man of the Match" award for his team in his first ever competitive game. My FA Mentoring is going well and I have enjoyed working
with the coaches and players at both of the clubs I've been allocated to. What's also been great is my continued involvement with the CSS group at Aachen Hall and another set of sessions is
booked for Disability Football at Calderdale College. The crew and players at Aachen Hall are all fantastic and the numbers attending the sessions increase every week, to the point that we
need a bigger venue! All these plus the usual school sessions and my Level 3 BTEC football at Shay Stadium has led to an extremely busy schedule. A challenge in itself to
fit everything in but also really pleasing that I'm in demand.
